Bognor 5 – 38 Littlehampton

25th November 2014

After last weeks postponement due to pitch conditions everyone was keen to get a game in this week so make the short journey to Bognor Rfc with Refreshed squad after 2 weeks off.

On arrival Littlehampton find the pitch Wet , Slippery and in places quite Boggy, but from the kick off have the best of the possession in the first half but fail to capitalise  from almost constant  ownership of the ball but handling errors and kicking  the ball away they limited themselves to a 0-12 Halftime lead with Gary Keirle crossing the line for 2 tries, Walters adding 1 conversion.

HT 0-12

2nd Half …

After the break Bognor came out firing but the visitors defence held them out on numerous occasions before a decisive spell when the hosts had 2 players sin binned within a few minutes of each other to go down to 13 men and allow Littlehampton to ease away into an unassailable 38  point lead with further  tries coming from Keirle (for his hatrick) Adam Grady ,Ian Ritchie, and Craig Walters and conversions from Walters 1,Mike Edmunds and a drop kicked conversion from Craig Boddington.

Bognor would have the final say of the game when the returned to  the full compliment of players they managed to squeeze over for a single try to make the Final score 5-38.

The win moved Littlehampton back up to 3rd in the table.
